On LabXchange, you can find free online textbooks that are dynamic and continually updated. We make digital textbooks from respected sources more flexible. Individual sections of a textbook can be combined with other interactive content. This helps you understand different contexts and share new narratives.

Technology is all around us. Devices like smartphones, computers, and tablets have vastly improved the way we learn, solve problems, and work in our daily lives. In our increasingly technology-rich world, it is essential that students are equipped to lead a balanced and healthy digital lifestyle for success in school, at home, and in their future careers. That’s where the Digital Wellness Project comes in. We’ve been collaborating with school districts across Central Ohio to develop a rigorous digital wellness curriculum that can be easily implemented by any teacher at every grade level to ensure that students have the tools, resources, and skills to interact personally, socially, and educationally in the real world and in digital spaces.

The DriveOhio Ambassador Program aims to inspire and educate Ohio high school students about career opportunities in the transportation industry. The program offers students access to online resources, hands-on activities, and real-world experiences to help them develop the skills and knowledge needed to pursue a career in a STEM-related field. Other benefits include earning volunteer or work-based learning hours aligned with the Ohio Means Jobs Readiness Seal, opportunities to earn industry recognized credentials, career networking with Ohio employers, universities, and researchers, and mentoring experience.

The DriveOhio Vertiport Innovation Challenge is made possible with support from JobsOhio and a variety of advanced air mobility (AAM) employers and academic partners and provides opportunities for high school and college students to envision the future of air mobility across Ohio. Student teams work with industry mentors to develop proposals that pinpoint solutions and the aviation infrastructure necessary to AAM support operations. After a kickoff presentation, DriveOhio provides support and feedback throughout the challenge.

The Dynamic Integrated Climate Change (DICE) model assumes a single world producer must chose levels for three simultaneously determined variables: current consumption, investment, and greenhouse gases reduction. The model is freely available in both a GAMS and Excel version. DICE allows both science and economics instructors to integrate a sophisticated economic model of climate change into their courses. The simulation is for upper-division courses where students have some background in microeconomics. The principle developer is William Nordhaus at Yale University.

This course is designed to provide participants with a wide variety of online tools, pedagogical strategies, and digital resources to help educators enter the world of online and digital learning. The impetus of the creation of this course was the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus in early 2020, causing an unprecedented national emergency. It was at this time that, among other things, the lack of professional development and need for teacher training in the area of online and digital learning became evident. We created this class with the intent to provide educators with a free resource to assist them in acquiring the skills and knowledge necessary to better navigate the waters of online learning in a digital world.

This guide was meant to support schools and districts that are implementing an early warning system. Through detailing 7 steps, it walks districts and schools through the implementation process from establishing roles and responsibilities to evaluation.
