Tips for Digital Content Sharing

Tips for finding books that have a similar theme.

1.) With book in hand go to > scan or input the ISBN barcode or title into the search box.  Many books are available for same day check out at the Open Library (to set up an account only requires an email address)

Digital copy can be visually adjusted for whiteboard with adjustments at left side of screen

2.) To find physical books at Cleveland Public Library click on Worldcat

3.) If a copy is available it should bring up the catalog record

Use the NoveList Feature to find similar titles

NoveList can be found at the bottom of the record

NoveList allows you to set up an account and keep file folders on topics to explore with your students.

4.) If your school uses the Overdrive SORA app  (Cleveland Metropolitan School District is on board in partnership with Cleveland Public Library)
Your class can inquire about digital multiple copy sets to use with tablets and laptops.  Dave Cooksey can help your school with this access.
