OECN United Call for Proposals Reminder
by Janah Shumaker 1 year, 11 months agoGood Afternoon,
Just a quick reminder that session proposals for the OECN United Conference are due Friday, January 6, 2023, and the conference committee is looking for INFOhio/library related sessions. This is a great opportunity to share your expertise with other INFOhio Providers and ITC Staff! Sessions could cover a variety of library topics, not just those automation focused. Here are just a few session ideas:
- Do you have Chromebook loads down pat? Share your experience with others!
- Can you help genrefy libraries in your sleep? Share that!
- Have you developed effective communications or trainings for your user base? Invite others to join you in creating similar opportunities!
- Are you using Google to do unique things? Share them!
- Using Sora, Mackin, or other eBook platforms? Invite others to learn about your experiences!
- Do you have libraries doing unique things that could be replicated in other districts? Submit a session about it!
- Have libraries facing book challenges? Share what your libraries are doing to address them.
- Have you created an Open Space group for your librarians? Share what you’ve done and how it’s going!
We hope you will think about submitting a session for this conference. If you have questions, please reach out to Kellie Gainey at kellie.gainey@managementcouncil.org or your ITC director.
Have a great week!
