WorkFlows 4.0 Upgrade Emails and Helpful Tips - Anyone want to share?

Here is the link to the emails that I sent to my users preparing for the WorkFlows 4.0 upgrade. (I numbered them for reference here.) Below shows what attachments I sent with each email.

Warning - I am very wordy.. These emails may be a little too much for some!

Email 1 - Version of INFOhio's email /Attachments: MAC Upgrade Instructions, Using Offline Mode document, Printing Patron & Staff Barcodes pdf

Email 2 - Prep for Offline Circ / Attachments: Using Offline Mode docs, Printing Patron & Staff Barcodes

Email 3 - Prep for WF 4.0 Upgrade / Attachments: MAC Upgrade/Installation Instructions, PC Upgrade/Installation Instructions

Email 4 - Server Now Available / Attachments: MAC Upgrade/Installation Instructions, PC Upgrade/Installation Instructions

Email 5 - 4.0 Upgrade Clean Up! / No Attachments

FYI: I did also send a brief "20 minutes til shutdown" message.

Helpful Idea: For users with offline transactions: I created WF reports of items checked in/out during the offline period and then sent the reports to the user. (Active Loans & Shelf List of Items checked in on specific date) It seemed to give my users the confidence that everything loaded b/c for many, it was the first time using offline.

Anyone have any other helpful tips for doing this upgrade? Please post them here for the other ITC's that have not upgraded yet.

To add one more resource. On the day of being offline, you may have users contact you that they don't see the Configuration Screen so they can check the 'offline mode' box. This short video demonstrates (on a PC) where to change the setting so the configuration screen will appear.
