9-12.ICT.1.C Analyze and evaluate the ease of use and effectiveness of available features of selected digital learning tools and resources.
Before students begin searching for sources, we will be doing the World Book webquest on Research Skills: Using the World Book Database, we would have the students experiement with using the database and finding materials. We would also use the student videos in the World Book pathway to show student how to use the different items available.
I did not upload the webquest or video since both were already used in this class.

To begin our poetry unit student will use World Book Kids to research poetry and get an overview of what we will be working on.
In using the book 'Ride Like The Wind' The following will be used as standard and alignment with 3-4 year olds.
Using the standard below and the resources within our access and World Book,

Standards: Ohio: Early Childhood Education - Grade EC - Recites the counting sequence to five accurately and beyond five with some errors.
Materials Needed: ebook: Trek Learns About Numbers
Instructional Plan: Read the ebook. Have animals out for the children to act out the book. The animals can be paper if figurines are not available.
Extension Activities: Reading the next book that goes up to 10 and/or 20. Compare and contrast groups. Adding two groups together.
Differentiation: Have a piece of paper out with circles and numbers and the children can put the figurines on each circle or they can match the animals to the corresponding animal with a number on it.
Assessment: Can the child recite numbers from 1-5, can the child count with 1:1 correspondence. Can the child put the correct match or place the appropriate item in a designated spot. Can the child identify numerals 1-5 out of order.
