This content package has been created for self exploration for students in Grades 6-8. The goal is to give students a choice board of sorts, with links for them to freely explore their interests and to begin developing a student success plan. This package was originally created for students in an after school program. The resources and links available are meant to be used in a self directed manner, as students are given time to explore their interests at their own pace, in a more personalized manner.The content aligns to Ohio’s ELA learning standards and to Ohio’s Career Connections Framework, as is described in subsequent slides.   

Technology is ever-present and ever-changing.  It affects our daily lives in many ways.  The same can be said for technology careers.  Many jobs that our students will do as an adult do not exist yet.  Exploring the field of tech careers is important because there are so many aspects and avenues within the field.  Some careers require several years of advanced training while others may take less time.  The objective of this package is to expose students to different careers within the tech field and inspire them to explore tech careers that align with their goals and training preferences.  

These curated resources can help Intervention Specialists, Parents, and Administrators with guiding students through the transition period while they are matriculating from the K-12 setting to College, Trade School, or the Work Force. The resources can be used to help meet IEP Goals and Objectives for students with disabilities.

 Students live in a world many teachers did not: one with the internet, social media, and email.  Navigating “netiquette” is imperative for personal development, mental health, and academic success.  The focus of this content package is to provide teachers with background knowledge on the importance of teaching netiquette along with lesson plans and supplementary materials.  This package provides a variety of high-quality instructional materials to support instruction of netiquette with a focus on Digital Wellbeing and Digital Footprints.

This is two examples of six-week financial literacy units for high school students with included digital resources.
The first unit was created using ChatGPT (https://chat.openai.com/) on 11/12/23, and also has a unit assessment with answers (also created by ChatGPT). Resources from Ohio's PreK-12 Grade Digital Library INFOhio were added manually as this is beyond the capability of ChatGPT. The second unit and assessments were created using Google's Bard (https://bard.google.com/) and DOES include multiple INFOhio resources.

Use of INFOhio resources listed for unit instruction is limited to those within the state of Ohio, United States of America.

It includes the ability to discern financial choices, discuss money and financial issues without (or despite) discomfort, plan for the future and respond completely to life events that affect every day financial decisions, including events in the general economy."This content pack is intended to be a way to discover new resources and lessons for financial literacy that can be used in grades 9-12. The standards being referenced are ODEW Site: Ohio's Financial Literacy Standards for Financial Literacy, page 9 (high school). Though it is not mentioned here, it may hit additional standards within Social Studies, Mathematics, or other topics within Financial Literacy. What is the Food and Nutrition for Grades PreK-8 Content Package?Food and nutrition are important for students across Ohio's PreK-12 schools. This content package includes eBooks, videos, interactives, and lesson plans to support adults as they educate PreK-8 students about healthy eating habits and cultivate an awareness of nutrition and agriculture. Adults should review the materials in this package and select the materials that will meet the academic needs of their students. 

This resource features INFOhio resources for K-2 students with a focus on kindness, empathy, and friendship. Included in this collection are Bookflix videos, Bookflix and Highlights Library ebooks, and EBSCO articles. Also linked in the document is an interactive bookshelf with direct links to each resource.
