About me
I work as a curriculum consultant at the Educational Service Center of Northeast Ohio. During my 20-year career in education, my experience includes grades PK-12. Prior to joining the ESC, I worked in both public (17 years) and private (3 years) schools. I spent 10 years as a high school mathematics teacher, two years as an assistant principal, five years as the building public school principal, and three years as the building private school principal. While serving in public schools, my focus areas included instructional data for school improvement, PLCs, student goal setting, development of common assessments, and PBIS, to name a few. While serving private schools, my experience included working with NPDS, EdChoice Grants, Title 1 programs, and individualized learning plans. At the ESC, I specialized in general systems and supports for school improvement (PLCs, data analysis, teacher clarity, explicit instruction, etc.), Project Based Learning (PBL), instructional coaching, leadership/principal coaching, and mathematics curriculum adoption/design/delivery to name a few.
