    Overview

In this lesson, students will complete their presentation with their group.

    Preparation

    • Read the lesson and student content.
    • Anticipate student difficulties and identify the differentiation options you will choose for working with your students.
    • Make sure you are familiar with each group's progress to better support each group in class.

    Group Presentation Check-In

    • Remind students that this is their final class period to work on their presentation.
    • Suggest possible tasks that students should complete.
      • ELL: This is a good time to meet informally with ELLs if they are struggling to participate.

    Opening

    • With your group, list all the tasks that still need to be accomplished for your presentation.

    Open Notebook

    Final Planning

    • Check in with each group and make sure individuals are contributing equitably to the effort.

    Closing

    • Divide any remaining tasks that will have to be completed outside of school, making sure all group members understand their responsibilities.

    Presentation Prep

    • Encourage students to polish all aspects of their presentation.

    Homework

    • Finish any tasks you have left for your presentation.
