GenYES Ohio Community

Good afternoon GenYES Ohio Community, 

As the new school year gets underway, we have some updates to GenYES Ohio to share with you.   

First, the old GenYES curriculum will now be located in the GenYES Ohio Community in the folder Archived Curriculum. Technology educators in grades K-12 can browse new classroom resources located in the GenYES Ohio Classroom Materials Collection in Open Space. Topics in the collection include:  

• Artificial Intelligence  

• Coding  

• Computer Science  

• Careers in STEM  

• Graphic Design  

Resources include various classroom materials to use with students.  

• eBooks and videos  

• Lesson plans  

• Experiments and hands-on activities   

Educators can select the classroom materials that best meet the needs of their students and course goals. 

Second, there is a new TAPs platform genyes.infohio.org, genyes.net will redirect users to our new platform. Learn more about the new platform here watch a recorded demonstration. 

Finally, the certification process has shifted to the district level. We will provide some resources and helpful documents in the folder GenYES Certification in the Open Space group GenYES Ohio Community to help you transition to a district-led certification process.
