The GenYES Ohio Community is a group for educators who use GenYES Ohio resources in their schools. Group members can collect, collaborate, share and lesson plans. Group members can use the discussion board to learn from conversations with peers how to support the use of GenYES Ohio resources in their schools. With the acquisition of the GenYES program, Ohio users should contact support.infohio.org with questions and support for GenYES Ohio.

TAPs Platform Improvement

Good morning GenYES Ohio Community,

We have an improvement on the TAPs platform that we are excited to share with you! It was communicated at our GenYES Ohio Community Meeting that teachers would like to see the Achievements page for their students from the facilitators page view.

You asked and we delivered! Thanks to our tech team you will now see “Achievements” in the top blue bar of the facilitators view.

At the top of the Achievements page you will see a drop-down menu where you can choose a student’s name. Once you choose a student it will display their badges earned, you can now see the students view of their Achievements page.

You can also scroll over the earned and empty badges for the title of each, for example, (Teamwork: Silver) Complete 10 Team TAPs, or (Maker) Complete 5 Content TAPs.

Please join us for our next virtual GenYES Ohio Community meeting on April 27th at 3:30 to share ideas and questions. Meeting details will be posted later here in the Discussions tab.
