Think about a text you use regularly for instruction and write a description of it. Condsider the following questions to help you explain your text.

Is the text from a textbook or is it from a supplemental resource?
Who interacts with the text? It is used in Tier One instruction?
What standards does the text support?
How long have you used this text in the classroom?
