No-Cost Virtual Learning Opportunity for Teachers Grades 3-4 from OhioDLA

by Mary Rowland 2 years, 2 months ago

Please excuse cross-postings, sharing an opportunity from the Ohio DLA.

Tomorrow is the last day to register for our Monster Match project. Please forward this fun opportunity to your Grades 3-4 teachers.

The OhioDLA is looking for classrooms in grades 3 and 4 to participate in our Monster Match Program in October.  This is a great program that promotes collaboration, reading, writing and presentation skills. This program is free and facilitated by the OhioDLA. Signups are open until September 23rd

Overview:

Classroom teachers are partnered with a classroom from another school district with similar connection dates/times. Each class divides their students into small groups to create a drawing of a monster. Once completed the groups create a list of instructions which are shared with their partner school to use to draw their monster. Classes connect via Google Meet, Teams or Zoom to read their instructions and to show both drawings. More details can be found on our project website https://bit.ly/2VGm0Xz
