New Process for INFOhio ICoach: Apply Today!
by Emily Rozmus 2 years, 2 months agoThe INFOhio ICoach program is for outstanding PreK-12 educators interested in learning how to integrate INFOhio's digital content and web tools into instruction and how to share their knowledge with other Ohio educators.
The ICoach application process has been updated to be more flexible to meet the needs of busy school staff. A new rolling application allows interested individuals to apply throughout the school year, not just during a specific time period.
Benefits of the INFOhio ICoach program include:
- Certification as an authorized INFOhio trainer after completion of required training that can be used to demonstrate professional learning growth.
- First notification about INFOhio tools and resource updates.
- Connection to the online learning community of INFOhio trainers to share ideas and training resources.
Applicants will complete up to 15 hours of online, asynchronous training using INFOhio Learning Pathways. In addition, they will connect with current ICoaches and those in training to discuss and reflect in Open Space. Upon completion, new ICoaches earn contact hour certificates and a digital badge.
Want to apply? Visit the ICoach page to learn more and fill out the application. If you have questions about the ICoach program, contact us at support.infohio.org.
How does this relate to the HQIM initiative?
Hi Lindsay,
ICoaches, like IPartners, support INFOhio by providing outreach and training. ICoaches are employed by schools, while IPartners work in agencies that support education. The ICoach Learning Pathway includes the class High-Quality Instructional Materials to Supplement Your Curriclum. This 4-hour class is required for all participants in the training. The class provides an overview of Ohio Materials Matter Reviews featuring reports from EdReports, The Instructional Materials Review Rubric, and other tools to find and adopt HQIM. This class is part of the Hiqh-Quality Instructional Materials for Each Child Learning Pathway. Anyone interested in learning more about these tools can complete the pathway.
Please let me know if you have any other questions! I am happy to help.
Thanks,
Emily Rozmus
