Ohio Collections Analysis Initiative webinars resume
by Janet Ingraham Dwyer 1 year, 4 months agoSince the launch of Ohio Collection Analysis Initiative in 2022, 680 library staff from all 88 counties in Ohio have registered for exclusive access to this original, self-paced, collection analysis initiative. Throughout 2022 and 2023, library staff have explored resources, attended webinars and open office hours, and used tools to consider collections that empower children and young adult readers by respecting and appreciating what makes them different and the same. The initiative is ongoing—register for access at any time, start when you are ready, and work at your own pace.

The State Library is hosting a webinar on Tuesday, September 13 at 3:30 p.m. (ET) on how to get started with the Ohio Collection Analysis Initiative. This 75-minute webinar will guide attendees through learning how to import data and use the tools to purposefully reflect, augment, compare, and determine which titles best fit their community’s needs. Attendees will receive a plan that equips them to both implement their decisions and routinize these tools in future practices.
