ICoach 2024-2025 Post 14: Reflecting on Your Learning
by Emily Rozmus 2 months, 3 weeks agoWhat INFOhio resource or service are you most looking foward to sharing or training others on? How will you let others in your building or district know about it? How will you support the learning and continued use of this in the classroom?
I'm really excited to share Explora with my colleagues, especially for supporting both science fair students and ELA students. Explora offers a wealth of curated, grade-appropriate resources that can help students dive deep into their research topics. For science fair participants, it provides access to reliable articles, research studies, and data that can bolster their projects. Meanwhile, ELA students can find engaging literature, writing resources, and research materials that cater to their reading levels and interests, making it easier for them to develop their analytical and writing skills.
To let other teachers in my building know about Explora, I plan to introduce it during our Professional Learning Communities (PLCs). This setting will allow us to have a hands-on discussion about how Explora can enhance our teaching practices and directly benefit our students. I’ll share tips on how to navigate the platform and provide examples of how we can integrate it into our lessons.
To support ongoing learning and use of Explora in the classroom, I will offer follow-up workshops during our PLC sessions where teachers can explore specific features tailored to their subject areas. By providing continuous support and sharing success stories, I hope to encourage my peers to integrate this valuable resource into their teaching practices.
