January ICoach Webinar Follow Up - Use the Document Library to "Train"!

by Emily Rozmus 1 year, 10 months ago
  1. What specific digital resource from INFOhio did you share with your staff that will help them with teaching or learning? (For this activity, do not use My Library in ISearch or Fetch). Why did you choose this?
  2.  What flyer(s), bookmark(s), or video(s) from the Document Library did you find to help staff learn more about the digital resource. What did you like about it as a support? (You can also share one of the slides from the Digital Content and Web Tools Training Slides.)
  3. How did you share the content from the Document library with staff using one of the best practices or suggestions from the webinar?

1. I sent out the flyer for the science flix resource to my district science teachers via email. I wanted a way to get them the list and a quick way to look for topics that might be relavent to their teaching.

2. I will be working with our 3rd grade reading teacher and using the Highlight chart in order to help her start using this resource. The Level correlation chart is easy to use as a quick reference.

3. I typically like to use introducing one resource at a time.

I just sent out the flyers for Gale's Ebook Financial Literacy and STEM/Career book collections yesterday. I also included a title list so my teachers can see what is in there. I wish the Financial Literacy collection was in the middle school collection. I had to send my middle school teachers to the high school collections even though many of the items in the collection are for both middle and high school.
