ICoach is a requirement for my job
I am already familiar with commonly used technology so navigating Infohio is not difficult mechanically.
I am frequently asked about ways to support different parts of the overall building plan of teaching and need to learn the vocabulary and componants of that, to be more efficient
Welcome, Adrienne! I know you will find great resources from INFOhito support your building plan.
Beth Clute

It is what my support person has us do on Instuctional Days.
I've enjoyed exploring all that infohio has to offer.
Rachel Robson, Technology Coordinator, St. Ambrose Catholic School. I want to help teachers utilize the InfoOhio resources easily in their classrooms.

Hello! My name is Stacy Knueve. I am the Media & Software Integration Specialist at Kalida High School in Kalida, Ohio. I am also a Business & Computer teacher at Kalida teaching a Personal Finance and Computer Applications course to students for college credit through Rhodes State College as an adjunct professor. I am interested in becoming an iCoach as a way of becoming more familiar with all the various INFOhio resources and exploring ways to work with my staff and make them more familiar also.
One of my strengths from the Learner Questionnaire is that I am relatively familiar with some of the INFOhio resources. As a computer teacher, I am familiar with computers and the technology aspect of the resources. I hope that my previous classroom experience will carry over into my roll with working with teachers.
I feel that an area where I need to build skills is in getting to know, understand, and use more of the INFOhio tools that are available to users. I would like to develop a working knowledge of as many resources as I can in order to be a reference for my staff. iCoach training will help me develop this skill/knowledge. I also want to work on developing my presentation skills. That is another area that I feel iCoach training will help me.
Hi Stacy - It was nice to meet you at OELMA! If you need anything, please let me know!
Emily
Angela Aquila, Librarian/ Technology Specialist, Gesu Catholic School
My interest in becoming an ICoach is to be a great resource for the teachers and students at my school with the information provided by the ICoach Program.
One of my strengths is working to learn something new everyday as well as share this newfound knowledge with those around me.
One area I would like to expand on is to familiarize myself with the resources provided by INFOhio and how to work it into my current curriculum.
Hi Angela,
Love that you learn something new every day and share it! Let me know if you have any questions!
Emily
Matt Garcher

One of my strengths is my ability to learn and process new information quickly.
I'm looking forward to learning how iCoach will help me in my workings with teachers to better integrate technological resources into their instruction.
Hi Matt,
Love to hear you want to help teachers with tech integration! Keep us posted on how this goes as you are learning!

Hi! My name is Tiffany Simonson and I am an elementary LRC tech for Akron Public Schools at Resnik CLC and Firestone Park Elementary. ICoach is a requirement for my position and I am excited to help others learn how to use all of the available resources. My strength is that I've used these resources as a student myself and also in several teaching positions of mine in the past. I have never trained other adults so I am interested in learning how I can help and what resources they are interested in.
Hi Tiffany! Welcome to ICoach. How cool to come full circle as a former user and now trainer for INFOhio resources!
Emily
Welcome Anne! Excited to see you bring PD delivery as a strength!
Emily
My name is Dwight Meyer, I work at Ashtabula County District Library, which has a partnership with Lakeside High School to staff the Media Center. Most of my work experience is as an Adult Reference Librarian in a public library. Now I'm the Coordinator of a Media Center, with no training as a Media Specialist bringing service to a building that had a library without any staff from 2014-22.
I regularly facilitate adult technology classes on how to download books from Libby to a Kindle, or how to "Cut the Cord to Cable." My strengths are in facilitating programs with small groups of adults, and I am accustomed to "demystifying" concepts to adults.
The main skills that I look to build relate to my familiarity with INFOhio and the resources themselves. How do students perform a search, refine results, get high quality materials, and download them? Before I started this program, I knew that INFOhio existed, I added links to our website, and I have encouraged my students to use resources that I had little experience with at the start of the 2023-24 school year.
Hi Dwight - glad you were able to find and join the group! If you have any questions, please let me know or reach out to other ICoaches in the Open Space group. There are many seasoned school librarians who can help you with your needs!
Emily
Hello,
My name is Dawn Ferrell. My main building is Voris, and my secondary building is Firestone Park Elementary. I was asked to obtain this certification for my position.
One strength is I am a very quick learner, so I am comfortable learning anything new.
One area I need to build skills is learning all there is know to be efficient working with ICoach, so I am looking forward to finding various applications that will help develop and incorporate other areas of learning.
My name is Susan Ridgeway and I am the Library Media Specialist for Miller South School for the Visual and Performing Arts in Akron Public Schools. I have been an ICoach in the past, so I anjoy knowing and sharing all that is offered by Infohio for my staff and students. Certainly my curiosity and investigative skills will benefit my being an iCoach. I am interested in connecting more of my staff to Infohio so I guess I can always use more presentation skills, so I can present in a variety of settings. I have found in the past that the iCoach program helps you with this one skill in particular.
HANH NUTTER,
LRC TECH,
SAM SALEM CLC,
ICoach is requirement for my job
1.My interest in becoming an ICoach is to be a great resource for the teachers and students at my school.
2.One of my strengths is individualization.
3.I need more ICoach training to help me to build skills, knowledge about ICoach, Infohio.
My name is Cassandra Rondinella, I am the Library Media Specialist at North High School for Akron Public Schools. I completed the training for iCoach the second year that the program was available, but struggled to be allowed to host training sessions within my building, and by the time I had solid footing in that area my coach status lapsed and I just didn't have the time with all the other trainer statuses I had gained to add one more thing back to my plate. I am revisiting iCoach as a requirement of my district.
I am an active researcher and learner. Additionally, I am completing a Second Master's degree in Leadership in Technology in Teaching and Learning, where we are required to develop programming around the ISTE Coaching Standards. I teach approximately 20-25 PD sessions every year for my building as well. I have a comfort level with training adult learners and this will be something else that I can add to my resume.
Well, since I thought I could take a short cut and have already completed all of my certificates without fully reading the directions and now I am back in the first module doing this work, ICoach training could help me to develop the skill of reading the directions before starting my assignments.
Hi - you will find that we have less strict requirments now to maintain your ICoach status. And yes, please read the directions! The syllabus is really important for the training!
Natalie Hostutler, Adolescent Literacy Coach, Amherst EVSD. I'm interested in becoming an ICoach to spread knowledge about INFOhio. I used it as a classroom teacher for research and would love to be able to share it with my colleagues.
I have a strength for vetting and choosing credible, evidence-based educational tools. I plan to use this knowledge when I share information with fellow educators.
Overall, I'd like to have a deeper understanding of INFOhio and tools that I may have never known about previously.
Glad to have you in the program, Natalie!
Goodmorning!
My name is Deborah Clayson Hughes and I am the Secondary Library/Media Assistant for the National Inventors Hall of Fame STEM middle school and STEM high school in the Akron Public School District.
The ICoach program is a requirement for my position. This is the second time I am going through the program, since letting my training laps. This will help me reinforce information from the past as well as be current on information that is new, to strengthen my collaboration ability,
I think I probably could benefit from the presentation skills.

I have gone through the training before but it has been several years and I would like to get up-to-speed so that I can better help our students and staff navigate and take advantage of the resources provided by INFOhio.
I have some experience using some of the resources and I have experience presenting Professional Development to our staff, so once I feel more comfortable with INFOhio I hope to be able to provide valuable training to our staff.
I definitely need to better understand what all is available in terms of the digital tools and resources, and have more confidence in matching those tools with the student/staff needs.
Hi Darlene,
You will find many updates in the training and the resources since your last experience. Thanks for taking it again!
Ashanti Smith LRC tech at Betty Jane CLC and McEbright CLC in Akron Public Schools
I am interested because it's a requirement for my job and also it has great resources for students to use.
I am familiar with info and use it weekly if not daily with my students. Using technology is common to me so it is comfortable using or sharing infohio resources.
Collaborating with teachers on infohio resources.

Angela Rogers - K-4 Technology Teacher - Sycamore Creek Elementary - Pickerington Local Schools
I am interested in becoming an ICoach so that I can help teachers integrate the tools in their every day learning.
I am somewhat familiar with INFOhio and was a classroom teacher for 17 years. With that background experience, I am hopeful that I can help teachers find INFOhio a useful tool for their own classrooms.
One way in which the ICoach training will help me is to become even more familiar with all INFOhio has to offer. I am excited to dive in and learn!
Hi Angela,

I'm pretty sure there are a lot of areas where I can build skills through ICoach training. Looking forward to learning ways to support students, staff, and families.

Columbiana Middle School
I enjoy sharing good resources with colleagues.
I am new to using InfOhio. I hoping to find and learn about new resources that I will be able to use and share.
Gerard Grimm, ELA Teacher, Southern Local Jr/Sr High School. I want to take this back to my TBT and provide this resource to my colleagues so that they can use it as part of their classroom.
As a three sport coach and classroom educator, I have spent a great deal of my adult life having to be a successful communicator. Knowing your audience is key and finding they best way to gain understanding from them through modifying the delivery of the content to fit their needs. This has always been a strong suit of mine and with my working knowledge of my TBT group, being able to relay this training to them should be fairly straightforward.
The area that I will need the most growth in is understanding and learning the plethora of resources available from infOhio. Hopefully through this iCoach training, I will have a great deal of hands on experience with a variety of the resources to better fimiliarize myself with this program.
1. Jill Hall - Librarian - Crestviewl Local Schools - I am interested in gaining additional digital resources for my staff.

ICoach is a required traning for my role in the school system.
Throughout the year I have learned more of IINFOhio during my lessons either a student showed me something new that they found interesting/ learned from using this helpful resource. I have taught sutdent lessons using the content provided. It's great!! The students love it and enjoy being able to use it at their own pace and i do too!! This can help me as an ICoach by providing me the proper information needed for each class so that I can use those skills and knowledge to implement and support throughout the year.
I need to build skill exploring and using applications in InfoOhio that I used the least and become familiar with them in case I need to use them in the future.
