Using the links listed under What is the Definition of High-Quality?, write your own definition of high-quality instructional materials.
High-quality instructional materials include effective instructional strategies that are evidence-based, easily accessible, offer flexibility for all learners, and are aligned with content standards. When implemented, assessments can be used to track progress and the effectiveness of the materials in practice.
I think a definition of High-Quality Instructional Materials must include materials from a trusted resource that align with content standards and that content is accessible to all students.
HQIM are instructional materials which align with Ohio's Strategic Plan, are consistent with Ohio Learning Standards, can be used remotely, include multiple options for content and grade-level isntruction, and can be applied to individualized educational programs.
I really like your definition!!
High-quality instructional materials are materials that are accessible, meet the ohio state standards, are rigorous, open ended, flexible and have evidence based support.
High-quality instructional materials are vetted and aligned to the Ohio state standars. These materials can be used a variety of ways to best support student learning.
I believe that High-Quality materials must include standards-aligned content, elements of research-based practices, peer review, flexibility for a variety of learners, and periodic review.
Thanks Dave!!
