This group has been created for INFOhio users and book study groups who are reading the book, Building Blocks for Tiny Techies by Jamila "Mia" Leonard. This group is to be used in combination with the INFOhio class, Building Blocks for Tiny Techies by Jamila "Mia" Leonard to help teachers reflect on their own practices and learn from others.
In this book, the author shares her expertise with best practices for tech implementation, adaptation, and exploration in the elementary classroom, where today's students are digital natives, adept at using touchscreens and apps from an early age. She offers strategic, seamless, and intentional ways to fold tech into existing curricula. This guide helps teachers reach for apps and learning tools that power up the great learning that's already happening in the classroom.

Our high school has students create a senior portfolio which they begin in 8th grade using Google Sites. Google sites is relatively easy to use and many students have had background knowledge using this tool in previous classes. A challenge is understanding share access of documents, publishing changes, and using professional or well thought out images.
