Features of PebbleGo Next
by INFOhio Staff 2 years, 4 months ago- Consider what you learned from your glimpse at PebbleGo Next, then think about your students. Name at least two features of the resource that will most appeal to them.
- What is the one question you have about the resource you hope will be answered during this class?
- Think of a time when you used a website or digital instructional program in your instruction. What did you like about using the digital resource? How was it different from using other resources?
1. Two features that students would be drawn to on PebbleGo Next is the read-aloud feature for different articles and the Games feature at the bottom of the screen.
2. I would like to know how to best implement the different activities that are available at the end of lessons. I would also like to know how some of these lessons relate specifically to the standards I am covering in my class.
3. I have used Project Lead the Way as a digital instructional program for my classes. I really liked that the videos and activities were easily available for students to access and engage with. The material was also age appropriate and was easy to be differentiated for different learners, which is not always an option with some digital instructional programs.
1. My kids would love the graphic novels and the experiments.
2. What educators resources are available.
3. I like that these are available online at any time for our readers.
1. I learned that PebbleGo Next is a resource that is an interactive article source that is differentiated for various reading levels without struggling readers missing content. Two features that would appeal to students are the games and hands-on activities related to the articles.
2. Could this be easily changed for a younger audience or are there articles for a younger audience that use this same format?
3. I liked that it was adaptable for all kinds of videos. It was easy to make any video something that the students could get something out of. It was different from other resources because it was not easy to differentiate by adding read-aloud options for questions and could only be used with videos. The resource I am referencing here is Edpuzzle.
