SymphonyWeb Extended Pilot Group

Good afternoon,

Some of may have noticed or may have not noticed that SymphonyWeb was upgraded to Symphony version 4.0 this month.  There were no user interface changes, however a couple updates happened, and some bugs were resolved that I’d like to share with you.  The enhancements included are:

• Easier resizing of helper windows within SymphonyWeb – Visual guides now show when users resize helper windows. The size of the area to click to resize helpers has also been increased.
• Screen flickers while mouse wheel scrolling through search results in SymphonyWeb – Previously within SymphonyWeb the screen would sometimes flicker when scrolling through search results. This has been fixed so that no flickering occurs when mouse wheel scrolling through search results specifically.

The fixed bugs include:

• SymphonyWeb: Icon for Change Item ID helper missing - The icon for the Change Item ID helper didn't display within SirsiDynix SymphonyWeb. This has been fixed so that the icon for the Change Item ID helper now displays in SymphonyWeb as expected.

The enhancement for the Global Item Modify wizard scanning issue is still In Task Force status and will hopefully be added in the future upgrades to SymphonyWeb.
