Checking Books In - error

When scanning books to check them in, there is a ghost 3 that appears at the end of each checked in book (I see it pop up into the item ID box). Most of the time it clears itself out, but other times, it registers (as if it was typed in) so that the next book scanned errors out (becuase the barcode number is now wrong).

Our book barcode numbers start with 3, but this is happening with every book I check in - not just ones that end with a 3 at the end of the barcode number.

Hello Terri,

It sounds like you may be getting a pop-up message when scanning. Would you be able to send me a screenshot of the message you are receiving?

It's not actually a pop-up. When scanning books, after the barcode registers, a '3' appears in the item ID box, then disappears. Every so often, the 3 doesn't disappear. So the item ID box show '3' before I scan anything in.

I'll see if I gan get a photo or video of this occuring.

Hello Terri,

I am unavailable tomorrow at this time.  Can we plan for 9:30 on Friday?  If this will work please confirm and I will send you a Zoom link outside of Open Space to join the Zoom.
