Cataloging
by Laura Hernandez 1 year, 1 month agoI am trying to catalog. I have gotten MARC records and now I need to put barcodes and stuff. When I go to Call Number/Item Maintence, find my school in Library, go to Call number in Index, then XX in Search for, the records don't come up. Can we not complete cataloging in Symphony Web?

Hello Laura,
Yes, the cataloging process works the same as WorkFlows,when you bring in an item from SmartPort the new item or existing item (if the title is already in the system you will see the title not an XX call number) will be a highlighted blue link listed as current. Are you seeing this at all in SymphonyWeb for the item you have imported? If not, what title are you trying to import?
