Preparing for a test requires lots of practice and this review will help students show what they know about how to use a number line.
Students will take a previously created paragraph and edit it to make it better by adding details, definitions, a topic sentence, or a closure to an informational paragraph. Resources include a powerpoint presentation and pictures and videos of the lesson in action.
Students will compare and contrast the written form of Sojourner Truth's "Ain't I a Woman" to a live reading of the poem by an actress. Follow-up activities provided.
In this lesson, students explore "real-life" resources that make use of literal equations (rewriting known formulas) to help make people's lives easier. Students will use Excel to design formulas that find a specific value like those found on popular websites. Includes pertinent documents, a video on calculating simple interest, and a practice activity.
Rhombus, the mathematically correct term for "diamond" is the focus of this interactive lesson.
Roll cubes to make answering questions. It's an exciting and engaging lesson.
