Accuracy of measurement in navigation depends very much on the situation. If a sailor's target is an island 200 km wide, sailing off center by 10 or 20 km is not a major problem. Educator utilizes a needs assessment to understand learners’ access to and use of technology for digital learning. This is the first of five micro-credentials in the “Transitioning to Digital Learning” stack. It is encouraged that the micro-credentials in this stack are earned in sequence, as each skill builds on the previous one in the stack. Learners will create or adapt an existing technology needs assessment to gather data on their classroom learners’ access to and use of technology. The educator analyzes the results to inform the design of digital learning.
