HyperDocs are digital lessons created with Google Apps for Education that engage and challenge learners to explore, analyze, and synthesize information. INFOhio has teamed up with inquiry to create two content-specific HyperDocs using INFOhio digital content. Participants will advance down the court by learning how to use all-star content, and proven powerhouse practices for a common goal. Discover how to use the inquiry process and the HyperDoc template to create your own lessons using quality INFOhio content and strategies that will connect students with critical thinking and collaboration for a winning outcome!

Discussion of providing students with a purpose for reading from a college class site entitled "Advanced Study of the Teaching of Secondary School Reading." Along with discussion and background on the topic, some specific strategies are presented including Anticipation Guides, DRA, DR-TA, KWL, Semantic-Feature Analysis, SQ3R, and Think Alongs.

The educator provides students with options that allow them to engage with content that will support their specific needs as learners, as well as information on how multimodal learning pathways support specific student needs. Educator implements multimodal learning in a manner that allows students to engage in the learning process through a variety of formats.

Approximate time to complete this course is 4 hours. A micro-credential is available from Digital Promise upon completion.

This class will show you how to implement student-led workshops and tutorials that empower learners, encourage creativity and facilitate innovation.
